Enrique Vásquez Burgos

He was born in Xalapa Veracruz on August 30, 1980. He has more than 18 years of experience in the theater field. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Theater from the Universidad Veracruzana. He has taken different workshops, diplomas and courses in vocal experimentation, singing, makeup, masks, puppets, body training, stage direction, acrobatics, African dance, Afro-Cuban dance, contemporary dance, Capoeira, Sound-painting, improvisation, music, dramaturgy, cinema documentary, documentary theater, Creation of Unipersonales, Free Movement and Personal Dance with distinguished national and foreign teachers.
He has participated as a theater actor in more than 100 plays, African and Afro-Cuban dance shows, troupes, parades, performances, puppets, conducting, floor animation and stilts. He has worked in local and national television, radio productions, and large and small budget local and national cinema.
He has dedicated himself to teaching Artistic Education, as well as Acting and Body Training at the “Literateatro” Actoral Training and Initiation Center with children in the city of Xalapa.
He is a founding member of “Emplumada Serpent Collective,” a group that specializes in performing and artistic activities; developing artistic recycling workshops, animation, African dance, theater and recreational activities for children and young people. He currently works as an actor in the Titular Theater Company of the Universidad Veracruzana belonging to the Theater Organization of the U.V. (ORTEUV).
