Boris Lorenzo was born in Havana, Cuba.
He moved to Israel at the age of 4 and grew up in the city of Be'er Sheva.
As a young kid, he grew fond of cinema and everything surrounding the subject.
He directed and acted in his first movie, "Alone in My Room," at the age of fifteen and won recognition within the Israeli independent film community as an aspiring young amateur filmmaker.
He considers himself a "Director Of the sadness of living under poor circumstances", each one of his short films is emphasized by the melancholic themes of Suicide and Depression.
He is a very strong advocate of mental health, and he also identifies as bisexual saying "I believe people should love the ones that they wanna love, love should never be limited to one gender because if I can love a man the same way someone else loves a woman, why shouldn't I act with my feeling and let myself love and romanticize my own life and someone else's?".
