Agni Raj Singh
Agni Raj Singh is a Los Angeles-based writer, director and filmmaker. Born in Darjeeling, India, he attended India's premier boarding school, The Doon School in Dehradun, growing up in the British schooling tradition.
He was hand-picked as a Trustee Scholar in 2014 by the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, where he successfully completed double degrees in Film & TV Production and Economics. His degree in Film is from the prestigious USC School of Cinematic Arts and his degree in Economics is from the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, USC. He received the Gold Medal for the Thematic Options Honors Program. His application film to USC, "Minolta" (2015), was chosen as the Best Short Film at the 2016 Chandigarh International Film Festival in India. At the School of Cinematic Arts, he wrote and directed 3 films, including "Luna(r)tic" (2016) and "Requiem" (2016); was cinematographer and editor for "Nice Guy" (2018); producer & sound designer for "Strings Attached" (2017); and writer for "The Fringes" (2018).
Agni recently conceived and directed the music video for the CID and Anabel Englund single, "Use Me Up" (2018). Agni works as Creative Director of a digital media creation and artist management company in Los Angeles, USA. He is multi-lingual and can speak several Indian languages. His writings, whether poetry, prose or scripting, are mostly in English. Agni is also a trained pianist and dancer.
