Ximena Mont Suá

She graduated from the first generation of the Bachelor's program at the University Center for Cinematographic Studies (CUEC UNAM), where she enrolled in 2015.

Her focus has been on Animation, Directing, and Editing. She has created stop-motion animation for commercials, as well as photography in the documentary short "Selenium," pre-selected at the 2018 Ariel Awards.

She has directed and written two short films: "Komorebi," which combines animation with live-action, and "XXI Century Love" (2018), both as part of a well-defined aesthetic search influenced by contemporary Japanese cinema. In addition to her roles as editor and credit designer in "Amanecer," selected at the SHORTS MÉXICO 2018 festival, "Suicidrag," selected at GIFF 2018 and FICM 2018, and "Donde todo comienza," winner of first place in the Short Film Contest "A cien años del natalicio de Guillermo González Camarena."

She is currently a professional drummer, supporting various bands in the independent scene.
