Kouichi Arai

Arai Kouichi 新井浩一 is a Japanese freelance animator. He was one of the first trainees at Toei Animation, and in March 2008 he founded the animation production company Kinema Citrus together with production desk manager Ogasawara Munenori, producer Matsuie Yuichiro, and director Tachibana Masaki . Michio Mihara describes him as "a pioneer in creating three-dimensional shadows . "
