Masaki Hinata

Masaki Hinata (日向 正樹, Hinata Masaki; born April 14, 1970) is a Japanese animator, animation director, and character designer from Fuji, Shizuoka Prefecture.

After gaining experience working for Artland from 1991 to 2010, he moved to the animation studio Madhouse in 2006. Since then, he has been involved in many popular anime works, such as Death Note, Accel World, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, etc., where he serves as animation director, chief animation director, key animatpr, and character designer. In addition to his work at animation studio Madhouse, he is often involved in animation productions outside the company as a core member of Production EN, such as the ufotable-produced series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
