An Egyptian actress of Lebanese descent, where she was born to a Lebanese father and a Spanish Jewish mother. She worked in theater and cinema since the forties of the twentieth century, where she worked in the theater for the first time with the artist Naguib Al-Rihani, while in the cinema she presented films (Gram and Revenge, The Five Pounds, Samson and Pulp, Hassan, Morcos and Cohen). She married art critic Abdel Fattah Al-Baroudi, and she had declared her conversion to Islam in 1960.
