The red doorstep (2010)

Mansoura is an orphan girl who worked in an orphanage and defended the orphan girls against Abla Afarm, the director of the shelter, which prompted Afarm to fabricate a theft case against her and forced her to flee the village to Cairo to search for her uncle who ate up her share of her father’s inheritance nine years ago. In Cairo, Mansoura finds her uncle working as a poor man. A janitor for a building in the Manial Al-Rawda neighborhood.
